Our Story

How it all started...

Pastor Weldon Coker started the church at his home in 1972. The meetings averaged 12 people in attendance for three years. The Assemblies of God gave $15,000 to purchase 2 acres of land at 930 North, 400 West in Logan. In 1975 there were 18 people present for the groundbreaking ceremony; the building was dedicated in 1976. The name of the church was Logan Assembly of God.
In October of 2006, the church extended an invitation to Pastor Dane and Bev Wead to become their new pastors.
In November of 2008, a transition was made with the Prince of Peace Lutheran (PoP) church and Cache Valley Christian Center (CVCC). PoP had 3.11 acres of land on 2045 N 800 E in North Logan but did not have a building. CVCC traded its building and land for PoP land plus a sum of money. In February 2009, CVCC moved away from 930 N 400 W and met in various places, including movie theater and conference center, until construction of a new building was completed.
In May of 2010, the church membership voted to change the name from Cache Valley Christian Center to New Life Fellowship. The church was in new beginnings with a building and vision, and the membership believed with these recent changes that New Life Fellowship best described and defined who we are as a church and what we are all about.
November 2013, the new church building was completed in North Logan, and a dedication service took place on December 15, 2013.

Expanding the vision...

New Life Fellowship exists to connect people to God, build relationships, and take the Gospel to the Nations. We believe the best way to accomplish this vision is through 5-key areas.
Worship.
Fellowship.
Discipleship.
Ministries.
Missions.

Where we are headed...

NLF believes in taking the gospel to lost people. We have planted three churches in areas where there was no church. We also have sent out teams of missionaries all over the world.
NLF believes in training people to become discipleship makers. We want to establish a culture of discipleship within our church.
NLF in raising up new pastors and missionaries. It is our goal to create a bible school facility on our campus.
