New Life Fellowship is a place for all people to connect with God, with one another, and the world.
The mission of New Life Fellowship is to know God and to make Him known here and around the world. He is the One that drives everything that we do and say.
We believe that God is eternal and has revealed Himself as ONE God existing in THREE persons within the Trinity – Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
(Matthew 28:19; II Corinthians 13:14)
We believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, the Savior of humanity, conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, fully God and fully man.
(Luke 1:26-35; John 1:18; Isaiah 7:14; 9:6)
We believe Christ died for our sins, was buried and rose again on the third day, and personally appeared to His disciples.
(I Corinthians 15:1-8; Romans 4:25)
We believe Jesus ascended to Heaven and will come to Earth again for the Church.
(John 14:2,3; I Thessalonians 4:13-18)
Those who have given their lives to Jesus' Lordship have the Holy Spirit dwell in them. Through the baptism of the Holy Spirit, believers are empowered and gifted for Christian service.
The Holy Spirit also enables believers to live a Christ-like life exhibiting godly character.
(Luke 11:13; Acts 1:8, 2:1-4, 8:17, 10:44-46, 19:6; Galatians 5:22-23; 1 Corinthians 12)
We believe in the operations of the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
(I Corinthians 12:14)
We believe in the creation, testing, and fall of man as recorded in Genesis and his total spiritual depravity and inability to attain righteousness on his own.
(Romans 3:11; 5:12,18)
We believe in the salvation of sinners by grace, through repentance, and faith in the finished work of the cross by which our sin was atoned.
(Ephesians 2:8-9; Hebrews 9:12,22; Romans 5:11)
We believe in the divinely inspired of the accepted canon of the Scriptures as originally given and that they are infallibly and uniquely authoritative and free from error of any sort in all matters with which they deal, including scientific and historical as well as moral and theological.
(II Timothy 3:16; I Corinthians 2:13)
We believe in the necessity of water baptism by immersion in order to fulfill the command of Christ.
Water Baptism is a sign of a changed life - but not necessary for salvation.
(Matthew 28:19; Acts 2:34 -38; 10:44-48; 19:1-6)
We believe in the healing of the body by divine power or divine healing.
(Acts 4:24-31; Romans 8:11; I Corinthians 12:9; James 5:14-15)
We believe in the Table of the Lord, commonly called Communion or the Lord’s Supper, for believers.
(I Corinthians 11:23-32)
We believe in eternal life in Heaven for believers and eternal punishment in Hell for unbelievers.
(John 5:24; 3:16; Mark 9:43-50; II Thessalonians 1:8-9; Revelation 20:10-15)
We believe in the reality and person of Satan and the eternal judgment of Satan and his angels.
(Matthew 25:41; Revelation 20:10 -15)
Pastor Weldon Coker founded the church in his home in 1972. In 1975, the Assemblies of God helped secure land in Logan, and the first building was dedicated in 1976 as the Logan Assembly of God.
In 2006, Pastor Dane and Bev Wead became pastors. In 2008, the church transitioned properties with Prince of Peace Lutheran, leading to a new location in North Logan. After meeting in temporary spaces, construction began.
2010, the church was renamed New Life Fellowship to reflect its renewed vision. The new building was completed in November 2013 and dedicated on December 15.
Since 2012, New Life Fellowship has planted three different churches: Casa Del Alfarero, a Spanish-speaking church that meets in our facility; Northview Church, which meets in Farrwest, Utah; and River of Life Church, which meets in Tremonton, Utah.
We believe that everyone deserves to hear the Gospel message. Therefore, we support missionaries who serve around the world and send teams to the mission field each year.
We believe in reaching the Next generation, so we have invested in a new Kids and Youth Facility. We support the families in their endeavor to raise their children to follow Jesus.
NLF is committed to sharing the gospel, planting churches, and sending missionaries to our community, our Nation, and worldwide. We strive to build a discipleship culture through mentoring and life groups. We endeavor to make a difference in our community and spread the gospel to the nations.
